A traveller returns to Mexico after an absence of twenty years. Her journey from the streets of Mexico City to the Mayan ruins in the jungles of the Yucatán prompts her to reflect on biographical, generational and collective memories and their role in the construction of narratives of identity, nationhood and the representation of cross-cultural global histories.
